49ers S Dashon Goldson signed his one-year franchise tender, the team announced Thursday.

Goldson was a Pro Bowler last season after recording 80 tackles, six interceptions and nine passes defensed. He signed his tender in time for training camp.

A fourth-round pick by San Francisco in 2007, Goldson has played in 65 games with 48 starts. The two sides could not come to terms on a long-term deal before the July 16 deadline for franchised players. His tender is worth $6.2 million for 2012.
