The Seahawks have signed C Max Unger to a multiyear contract extension, the team said Wednesday.
Unger, 26, started 15 games in 2011 and has made 32 starts in three seasons for the Seahawks.
“(Head coach) Pete (Carroll) and I are excited to lock up a young core leader on our offense,” Seahawks GM John Schneider said in a statement issued by the club. “Max’s consistent and professional approach to his job transcends the locker room and the huddle.”
Financial terms were not disclosed.
