The Lions have signed CB Drew Coleman, the club's official website reported Wednesday.
Coleman, 29, played 16 games for Jacksonville last season, starting four. He set career-highs in interceptions (two) and tackles (46). He had played the previous five seasons with the Jets.
Earlier Monday, the Lions added veteran CB-RS Justin Miller, who played for the Raiders and Jets three seasons ago. The Lions cut CB Aaron Berry, expected to contend for a starting role this season, on Monday, two days after his second offseason arrest.
