According to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh via the team's Twitter, Pro Bowl FS Ed Reed will report to training camp Wednesday.
Reed, who turns 34 in early September, is entering the final season of the six-year, $40 million contract that he signed in 2006 and wants a contract extension. However, the team has not shown any interest in giving the eight-time Pro Bowler a long-term deal.
According to Harbaugh, he "had a great talk with the veteran safety" Tuesday and Reed agreed to report to camp on time.
Reed is the active leader in career interceptions with 57, which ranks 11th in history. He also is the active leader in interception return yards with 1,463, which ranks second all-time.
