The Patriots placed six veterans on the physically-unable-to-perform list, according to multiple reports.

OLG Logan Mankins, ORT Sebastian Vollmer, TE Jake Ballard, TE Daniel Fells, DT Myron Pryor and LB Brandon Spikes will begin camp on the active/PUP list.

Mankins tore his ACL in the Pats’ Super Bowl loss to the Giants. In the same game, Ballard, who was playing for the Giants, also tore his ACL. Vollmer dealt with back injuries last season and had underwent a small procedure this offseason.

Fells missed time in spring workouts as well (leg) after coming over from the Broncos in March. Spikes reportedly had knee surgery in February. Pryor spent most of last season on injured reserve.

Seventh-round WR Jeremy Ebert was placed on the active/PUP list last week. The players can be activated at any time, at which point they can return to practice.
