The Lions signed former Steelers OT Jonathan Scott on Tuesday and released OT Johnny Culbreath.
Scott was released last week after the Steelers re-signed veteran OT Max Starks. The seventh-year veteran played in 12 games with five starts last season. In 2010, he played in every game with nine starts. He also started all three postseason games that year, including the Super Bowl loss to Green Bay.
Culbreath, a seventh-round pick in 2011, was placed on injured reserve last season with an undisclosed illness. He was arrested in January for possession of marijuana.
