The Raiders traded WR Louis Murphy to the Panthers, Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports first reported.
The Raiders confirmed the trade later on Monday and will receive an undisclosed conditional draft choice in return.
Murphy played in 11 games last season with one start and had 15 catches for 241 yards and zero touchdowns. He also had six carries for 69 yards and one TD. In 2010, Murphy went 41-609-2 in 14 games (nine starts).
This is the second trade between the Panthers and Raiders this offseason. In March, the Panthers sent RB Mike Goodson to Oakland for OL Bruce Campbell.
The Raiders drafted WR Juron Criner, who impressed in the spring, and also have young wideouts Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford to join Darrius Heyward-Bey, who had a strong season in 2011. Murphy joins a Panthers receiving corps with veteran Steve Smith and a group of young receivers including Brandon LaFell and David Gettis.
