Adjust your rosters, an NFL player has changed his name — back.
Chad Ochocinco legally changed his name back to Chad Johnson in a Broward County courthouse on Monday. He originally changed his name to Ochocinco on Aug. 8, 2008.
Johnson, who signed with the Dolphins this offseason after being cut by the Patriots, said he would return to the “Johnson” name after getting married.
Johnson is looking for a return to the numbers he used to put up with the name “Chad Johnson” as well. He was a disappointment in New England last season, finishing the year with only 15 catches.
