The Browns and RB Trent Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in April's draft, have reached agreement on a contract, multiple media outlets reported Monday night.
Various reports have Richardson receiving a four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth in excess of $20 million. Per ProFootballTalk.com, the deal includes a signing bonus is $13.3 million.
Richardson won the Doak Walker Award as college football's top running back in 2011 for Alabama, rushing for 1,679 yards and 21 TDs in his junior season. He is expected to immediately start and get the majority of carries for Cleveland.
Browns rookies report for training camp on Tuesday. The Browns' other first-round pick, QB Brandon Weeden, has yet to reach a deal with the club.
