The Steelers released OT Jonathan Scott on Thursday. Scott played in 12 games with five starts for Pittsburgh last season.

The seventh-year veteran played in every game in 2010 with nine starts. He began his career with the Lions in 2006 and played for the Bills from 2008-09.

The Steelers re-signed veteran OT Max Starks on Wednesday.
