All 32 NFL teams made Forbes’ list of the 50 most valuable sports teams, led by the Cowboys, who ranked No. 3.
Valued at $1.85 billion, the Cowboys tied with the New York Yankees for third on the list, ahead of the Redskins (fifth at $1.56 billion), Patriots (sixth at $1.4 billion) and Giants (ninth at $1.3 billion).
Fifteen NFL clubs are valued at $1 billion or more. The league’s least valuable franchise, the Jaguars, came in at 47th on the list with a value of $725 million. New owner Shahid Khan purchased the team for $760 million in January.
The new Collective Bargaining Agreement and television deals should increase values for all NFL franchises in coming years.
