The Los Angeles County District Attorney reportedly has dropped charges of DUI against Buccaneers CB Eric Wright.

In a statement, Wright’s attorney Jeremy Lessem stated that after reviewing the facts of the July 1 incident, the district attorney decided not to file any charges.

“Eric is glad this is behind him and is eager to begin training camp at the end of the month,” Lessem wrote, according to Pro Football Talk and NFL.com's Albert Breer.

Wright was booked on a felony charge of DUI after police responded to an injury accident near Staples Center. Wright reportedly refused a Breathalyzer or field sobriety test.

This offseason, Wright signed a five-year, $38 million contract with the Bucs. He started every game for the Lions last season and had four interceptions. Wright spent the first four seasons of his career with Cleveland.
