Browns DT Kiante Tripp was arrested for burglary in College Park, Ga., MyFoxAtlanta.com reported Tuesday.

According to the report, police allege Tripp and two others ransacked an apartment and threatened the occupants in a dispute over money.

Tripp, 24, appeared in three games for Cleveland in 2011, notching one tackle after the Browns added him to the active roster on Nov. 25. Tripp, who originally signed with Atlanta as an undrafted free agent in July 2011, was released by the Falcons in September and added to the Browns' practice squad last October. He played collegiately at Georgia and attended Westlake High School in Atlanta.
