Dolphins WR Brian Hartline revealed that his absence from OTAs was because he's recovering from an appendectomy.
Hartline, 25, is entering his fourth season in the NFL and his contract year. He is expected to be the No. 1 receiver in the team's new offense despite missing most of the team's offseason workouts. He is expected to be healthy for training camp.
He caught 35 passes for 549 yards and one touchdown a season ago.
