ESPN announced Wednesday that Chris Berman will call the Chargers-Raiders game as part of the season-opening doubleheader on Monday Night Football on Sept. 10.

Berman will call the game with analyst and former QB Trent Dilfer.

This season will be Berman’s 28th as ESPN’s host of "Sunday NFL Countdown." He is also the emcee at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s annual enshrinement ceremony. This will be Berman’s first time calling an NFL game.

The Chargers-Raiders game follows Bengals-Ravens, which will be called by the regular "Monday Night Football" crew of Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden.
