Broncos LB D.J. Williams had his complaint against the NFL dismissed by a federal judge.

Williams sued the NFL to overturn his six-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhacing substances. He claimed the league violated protocol in collecting urine samples. Williams’ attorney Peter Ginsberg said Williams would appeal the decision, according to The Associated Press.

Ryan McBean also sued, but settled his claim with the league by accepting a three-game suspension. He is now with the Ravens.

Williams made 90 tackles and five sacks in 13 games last season for Denver. He has been with the Broncos since 2004, starting 114 games. Williams, who tweeted a photo of defensive plays from his iPad this offseason, faces a trial on a drunken driving charge in August.
