The Bears waived QB Nathan Enderle following their three-day minicamp, the team announced Thursday.

Enderle was the Bears’ fifth-round pick in the 2011 draft. He did not play during his rookie season. In two preseason games, Enderle completed 13-of-23 passes for 177 yards and one interception.

Enderle, who played collegiately at Idaho, had a big fan in former Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz. Martz is gone, and Mike Tice is now the team’s offensive coordinator. The Bears have Jay Cutler, Jason Campbell and Josh McCown at the quarterback spot.
