The Bears have cut ties with veteran OG Mansfield Wrotto. His contract was terminated on Thursday, the club announced.

Wrotto was signed by the Bears last season, but did not appear in any games. He has played in 27 NFL games with 12 starts in three seasons (2008-10) with the Seahawks and Bills.

Wrotto had spent some time earlier this offseason running with the first team at right tackle while last year's first-round pick, Gabe Carimi, was still rehabbing from last season's knee injury.
