Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew won't attend the club's mandatory minicamp Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
Jones-Drew, who led the NFL in rushing in 2011, is seeking a new contract.
Jones-Drew will be fined $10,000 if he misses Tuesday's session and $60,000 if he misses all three days of the minicamp, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
On Monday, Jaguars GM Gene Smith indicated the club wasn't inclined to rework Jones-Drew's contract, which runs through 2013.
