The Browns refuted a report that they are for sale.
Howard Eskin of WIP-FM in Philadelphia reported that Joe Banner, who left his post as Eagles president on Thursday, was interested in forming a group to buy the Bills. Eskin said that the Browns and Rams might also be up for sale.
Browns spokesman Neal Gulkis said, “The Cleveland Browns are not for sale,” per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Browns have been owned by the Lerner Family since 1999.
