In a meeting before the club's divisional-round game, former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams declared two defenders as winners of $200 for hits, Yahoo! Sports reported Wednesday.

The Saints defenders were S Roman Harper and now-Rams LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Yahoo! reported, and the hits occurred in the wild-card win vs. Detroit the previous week.

The announced payments for the "whack" hits, Yahoo! reported, were on the audio recording filmmaker Sean Pamphilon made of Williams' speech the night before the Saints' game at San Francisco.

An unnamed Saints player who played under Williams told Yahoo! that a "whack" hit was a "clean hit" in which an opponent was knocked down, not one that left an opponent injured.

Per Yahoo!, which cited an unnamed league source, no discipline is expected for Dunbar or Harper.
