The Broncos announced Wednesday that they agreed to a restructured contract with DT Ty Warren.
“Ultimately we met in a middle ground and got the deal done,” Warren said.
Warren signed with Denver last offseason after spending the first eight years of his career with the Patriots. He missed the entire 2010 season with a hip injury and missed 2011 with a triceps injury.
In his career, Warren has 20½ sacks.
“I’m about as fresh as I could be,” Warren told reporters on Wednesday, adding that his body hasn’t felt this good since high school.
