The Buccaneers signed first-round RB Doug Martin to a five-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Martin, the 31st pick in the draft, is the sixth of seven Buccaneers draft picks to sign. Seventh overall pick Mark Barron is the only draft pick unsigned by Tampa Bay.

The Bucs traded back into the end of the first round to select Martin, who rushed for 3,431 yards and 43 touchdowns in his career at Boise State. He had 16 rushing scores in 2011. Martin was the second back drafted, following Trent Richardson, who went third overall to the Browns.
