Justin Blackmon, the first-round draft pick of the Jaguars, was arrested early Sunday morning in Oklahoma and charged with aggravated DUI.
The former Oklahoma State wide receiver was arrested by Stillwater Police about 3 a.m. Police spotted Blackmon’s vehicle going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. He admitted to consuming alcohol before driving and agreed to submit to a breathalyzer test. He reportedly blew a .24 — which is three times the limit of .08.
Blackmon was released from jail on Sunday afternoon on $1,000 bail and is due in court on Monday.
This is the second DUI arrest for Blackmon. He was previously arrested in October of 2010 and charged with misdemeanor DUI.
Blackmon, who was the fifth overall pick in April’s draft, has yet to sign a contract with the Jaguars.
