The Vikings have signed first-round S Harrison Smith, according to multiple reports. It is a standard four-year deal with an option for a fifth.
The 29th overall pick in last month’s draft, Smith, who played his collegiate ball at Notre Dame, played for the Vikings’ staff at the Senior Bowl in January.
The Vikings traded up to get back into the first round to select Smith. Minnesota drafted OT Matt Kalil earlier in the first round. Kalil and third-round CB Josh Robinson remain unsigned.
