The prospect of watching Andrew Luck under center rather than Peyton Manning doesn’t seem to be creating a tidal wave of interest in Indianapolis.

The Colts have hired an Indianapolis marketing firm to help sell 3,000 season tickets that remain unsold, according to IndyStar.com, which says season-ticket renewals have slipped to 87 percent this year following last season’s 2-14 finish.

The team has sold out 113 of its previous 114 regular-season and playoff games, according to the newspaper website, making blackouts of home games a very rare event in Indianapolis.

“We’re not anticipating being blacked out,” Pete Ward, the club’s chief operating officer, said Tuesday.
