Bills WR Stevie Johnson will be held out of the team's OTAs and minicamps to recover from groin surgery. It is possible he will not be ready to return until training camp kicks off at the end of July.
Johnson had the surgery in early May and is mostly pain-free. However, there is still some soreness in his hamstring, and he could be held out for precautionary reasons.
Head coach Chan Gailey told reporters Johnson may not be fully cleared until training camp opens. Johnson is the team's No. 1 wide receiver, having led the team in receiving yards each of the past two seasons.
