According to PFW Panthers correspondent Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer, Panthers DE Charles Johnson will miss offseason team activities as he recovers from arthroscopic knee surgery.

Johnson, who turns 26 in July, had what Panthers GM Marty Hurney called "a minor cleanup" on May 4. The five-year veteran is expected back for training camp. He has 20½ sacks the past two seasons, including nine in 15 games in 2011.

Person also added that LBs Jon Beason (Achilles) and Thomas Davis (ACL) will be limited in OTAs.
