The Jets agreed to terms with first-round DE Quinton Coples on a four-year contract on Thursday, according to multiple reports.
Coples, the 16th overall pick in the draft out of North Carolina, is projected to start on the D-line opposite 2011 rookie Muhammad Wilkerson.
Some projections had Coples going as high as the top 10, but questions about his work ethic and competitiveness after a disappointing senior season moved him down draft boards.
