The highest draft pick to sign thus far has agreed to a four-year deal.

Panthers LB Luke Kuechly, the No. 9 overall pick, has agreed to a four-year, $12.58 million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Last year's ninth pick, Cowboys OT Tyron Smith, got a four-year deal worth $12.50 million.

Kuechly is expected to start on Day One in Carolina's LB corps. Click here for his PFW scouting report.

Carolina announced Kuechly's signing on Friday, in addition to the rest of the team's draft class, which includes second-round OG Amini Silatolu.
