Jets vice president of college scouting Joey Clinkscales is leaving the club to take a position in the Raiders’ front office, according to multiple reports.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Clinkscales is taking a “prominent” position with Oakland.

Clinkscales has spent 17 seasons with the Jets, with the last four years as the VP of college scouting in charge of the draft. Earlier this offseason, he interviewed for the Rams’ general manager position.

Clinkscales was college teammates with Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie, who began making changes in Oakland’s scouting department on Tuesday.
