The Texans signed veteran PK Shayne Graham, who will compete with the team’s fifth-round pick, Randy Bullock.
“(Graham’s) had some success in this league, and I think the competition will be good for them,” head Gary Kubiak said, according to PFW correspondent John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. “I want to see them compete because it should bring out the best in them.”
Last season, Graham played for the Dolphins and Ravens and converted 6-of-7 field goals in three games. In 2010, Graham was a perfect 12-for-12 in eight games for the Patriots.
