The Panthers signed veteran P Nick Harris on Tuesday.
Harris played in 11 games for the Jaguars last season, punting 72 times for a net average of 37.9 yards.
In his 11 NFL seasons, Harris has played for the Bengals, Lions and Jaguars, and has a career net-punting average of 35.7 yards.
The Panthers selected P Brad Nortman in the sixth round of April’s draft.
