The Chargers released OLB Travis LaBoy on Monday, the team confirmed.

LaBoy signed with San Diego last offseason. He started all 14 games in which he played and recorded 38 tackles, one sack, one pass defensed and a forced fumble in 2011.

A seven-year veteran, LaBoy played for the Titans from 2004-07, the Cardinals in ‘08 and the 49ers in ’10. His most productive season came in ’05, when he had 41 tackles and 6½ sacks for Tennessee.
