The Patriots informed WR Tiquan Underwood of his release, according to multiple reports.
Underwood played in six games for the Patriots last season. He had three catches for 30 yards. Underwood was cut the day before the Super Bowl, but rejoined the team in the offseason.
Underwood was with the Jaguars in 2009 and ’10.
The Pats reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with veteran WR Jabar Gaffney, and have a logjam at the position.
