The Jaguars released CB Drew Coleman on Thursday, the team announced.
Coleman, who signed with Jacksonville last offseason after five years with the Jets, played in all 16 games last season with four starts. He recorded a career-high 46 tackles, nine passes defensed and two interceptions.
The nickel corner also added two sacks and three forced fumbles in 2011. He has 27 career passes defensed.
Jacksonville did draft one corner, Florida State’s Mike Harris, in the sixth round.
