The Raiders have fired Jon Kingdon, their director of college scouting, according to the NFL Network.

Kingdon has been with the Raiders since 1979 in a number of different capacities. He was still on staff for the just completed NFL draft.

Last week, the New York Daily News reported Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie was interested in hiring Jets college scout Joey Clinkscales to a front office position.
