Bills WR Stevie Johnson will undergo minor groin surgery. Johnson tweeted that he was heading to Philadelphia for the procedure.

Johnson’s agent, C.J. Laboy, told WKBW in Buffalo that it is “extremely minor surgery that won’t keep him out for long at all. He will be at (the Bills’) facility for all activities.”

Johnson played through the pain during the 2011 season. He became the first Bills player to record back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons, going 76-1,004-7 while starting all 16 games. Johnson received a five-year contract in March.
