The Rams have reached a one-year deal with unrestricted free-agent QB Kellen Clemens, according to PFW correspondent Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Financial terms were not announced.
Clemens started three games for the Rams last season following an injury to starter Sam Bradford, completing 52.7 percent of his passes while throwing two touchdowns and one interception. He lost all three games, all against eventual playoff teams.
A former second-round pick of the Jets, Clemens spent the first five seasons of his career in New York. He has thrown just seven touchdowns since entering the league.
