The Patriots announced the signing of PK Chris Koepplin on Monday. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Koepplin, 26, has never kicked in an NFL game. The 6-3, 210-pound University of Massachusetts product was invited to New England’s training camp last season, but was released on Aug. 29, 2011.

The team also confirmed it has re-signed C Dan Koppen, which was reported last week.
