The Dolphins have signed former college basketball player Les Brown, according to Tony Pauline of Sports Illustrated.

Brown, who did not play college football, was a small forward at NAIA Westminster College. He worked in the accounting department for Huntsman Gay Global Capital the past two years.

At BYU’s Pro Day, Brown, who is projected to be a tight end, ran a 4.44 40-yard dash, despite having a sprained ankle. He measured in at 6-4, 238 pounds.

It’s expected that Brown will compete for a spot on the Dolphins’ practice squad.
