The Ravens have agreed to a six-year deal with CB Lardarius Webb, the club announced Thursday. PFW correspondent and Baltimore Sun writer Jeff Zrebiec first reported the news.

Webb was a restricted free agent and received a first-round tender. Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome confirmed on Wednesday that the Ravens were in contract negotiations with both Webb and CB Cary Williams.

Webb played in all 16 games with 15 starts last season, his first as a full-time starter. He recorded 67 tackles, one sack, 20 passes defensed and five interceptions, including a 73-yard interception return for a touchdown.

The way we see it

Webb emerged as one of the AFC's better cornerbacks in 2011. With Webb, Williams and second-year pro Jimmy Smith, the Ravens have a solid trio at a key position.

With Webb's deal complete, the focus turns to whether the Ravens can get new contracts done with RB Ray Rice, who received the franchise tag, and QB Joe Flacco, who has one year left on his contract.
