The Titans signed free-agent DT Leger Douzable, keeping him in the AFC South.
Douzable spent the past two seasons with the Jaguars. He had his most productive season in 2011, as he played in all 16 games with six starts and recorded 38 tackles, one sack and one pass defensed.
In ’10, Douzable played in 15 games for Jacksonville with eight tackles. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent and spent time with the Giants and Rams.
“He brings versatility to our defensive line group. He has experience at both end and tackle which gives him value in our defensive scheme,” Titans GM Ruston Webster said. “The fact that he is a veteran increases the level of competition within our defensive line and makes for a competitive situation.”
