The NFL announced its 2012 preseason schedule on Wednesday and Peyton Manning’s first game as a Bronco will be in Chicago.
The Bears will host the Broncos in the first week of the preseason. Denver hosts the 49ers in Week Three of the preseason in a nationally televised game on Fox on Aug. 26.
The preseason kicks off on Aug. 5 in the Hall of Fame game between the Cardinals and Saints in Canton, Ohio.
The Colts and expected No. 1 pick Andrew Luck open their preseason at home against the Rams, while the Redskins and expected No. 2 pick Robert Griffin III open in Buffalo.
The defending Super Bowl champion Giants open the 2012 preseason in Jacksonville and will be in a nationally-televised game hosting the Bears in on Aug. 24.
The nationally televised game dates and times have been announced, while the dates for all other games will be released at a later date. The full regular-season schedule is expected later this month.
