The Chargers have reached a one-year deal with former Bills free-agent WR Roscoe Parrish. Financial terms of the deal were not announced.

Parrish spent the first seven years of his career with the Bills, where he was a slot receiver and kick returner. He was placed on injured reserve last season with an ankle injury after playing in just two games.

The signing marks the third receiver the Chargers have brought in since the start of free agency, with Parrish joining Robert Meachem and Eddie Royal. San Diego lost its top wideout from 2011, Vincent Jackson, at the start of free agency.

The way we see it

The addition of Parrish just gives the Chargers more depth at an already well-stocked position. Parrish may not see much time on offense, but assuming his ankle is healthy, he could make an impact for the team on kickoff and punt returns.
