Former NFL QB Ryan Leaf was arrested in Montana on Friday for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, felony burglary and misdemeanor theft. According to the Great Falls (Mont.) Tribune, Leaf has already posted $76,000 bond.

No details of the arrest have been released.

The No. 2 pick of the 1998 draft, having been drafted behind Peyton Manning, Leaf played four seasons in the NFL with the Chargers and Cowboys.

He has had previous legal issues with controlled-substance charges. In April 2010 he pleaded guilty in Randall County, Texas, to eight felony drug charges. He was sentenced to 10 years' probation and fined $20,000.

Leaf underwent brain surgery in 2011 to remove a tumor. He also wrote his first book last year.
