Looking for depth in their secondary, the Vikings have signed CB Zackary Bowman to a one-year deal, according to ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Dickerson. Terms of the deal were not announced.
Bowman started 16 games in four seasons with Chicago, making 115 tackles and recording seven interceptions. He started only one game in 2011, and made five of his 14 tackles on special teams.
Minnesota has not signed any defensive backs this offseason prior to Bowman, but did lose Cedric Griffin to the Redskins after he was released by the team.
