The Saints have agreed to a three-year deal with unrestricted free-agent OLB Chris Chamberlain. Financial terms have not been announced.
Chamberlain played the first four years of his career with the Rams, where he started 19 games, including 13 last season. During that time, he registered 150 tackles along with two sacks, two fumbles forced and an interception.
In New Orleans, Chamberlain will be reunited with Steve Spagnuolo, who was his head coach in St. Louis for three years with the Rams. Spagnuolo is the Saints’ defensive coordinator.
