The Cardinals feel pretty confident they have the right guy taking over as the starting right guard in free-agent pickup Adam Snyder. But team sources tell us they are not completely ruling out the versatile ex-Niner for another starting job on the O-line, depending on future moves in free agency and the draft. Snyder, 30, has played every position on the line, but after replacing Chilo Rachal at right guard last season in Week Four, the Niners’ offensive line showed almost immediate improvement. “They really liked what he did with the Niners,” one team insider said. “There were multiple teams interested in him, but his wife is from around here, and that was not a small factor in him deciding on the Cardinals.” While the ORG position appears to have been solidified, it’s a different story altogether at right tackle, where we hear the team is in no hurry at all to re-sign last year’s starter, UFA Brandon Keith.
