The Buccaneers announced Thursday that they have signed free-agent OT Jamon Meredith to a two-year deal and have released DE Tim Crowder and DE Nick Reed.
Meredith enters his fifth NFL season, having played in 17 games and starting four during his career. He most recently spent the 2011 season with the Steelers, appearing in four games.
Crowder spent the past three seasons with the Bucs, playing in 41 games with 13 starts. He played in 10 games in ’11, totaling 14 tackles with two tackles for loss.
Reed joined the Bucs for the final three games in 2011 and tallied two tackles.
